A transplant from the deep south, Chris now calls Las Vegas home. Chris attended college at Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia and then earned his law degree from Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Georgia. Before relocating to Nevada, Chris worked as a public defender where he handled all types of criminal cases from the simplest speeding tickets to the most complex cases including child cruelty and murder. Chris has served as first chair trial counsel for multiple jury trials resulting in complete acquittals for his clients. Since relocating to Nevada, Chris has represented clients in a wide range of legal matters including misdemeanor and felony crimes in both state and federal court, HOA foreclosure disputes, breach of contract claims, discipline matters before the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, and asset recovery and forfeiture disputes involving United States Customs and Border Patrol. Since joining Ford & Friedman, Chris has focused his practice on complex divorce, child custody, and post-decree enforcement matters. Chris has a proven track record of helping clients achieve successful outcomes both in and out of court at both the trial court and appellate court level.
Outside of the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy. Together, they enjoy attending live shows and concerts around the Las Vegas Valley, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Chris often spends his vacation time away from Las Vegas visiting other countries including England, Ireland, Scotland, France, and cruising around the Caribbean to various destinations including the Bahamas, Mexico, and Jamaica.
